Lesson Policies:
Lessons begin at the appointed lesson time. Please be on time and ready to work so that you may get the most out of your time.
Please be considerate of the trainer's time and of other clients!!***Cancellations Require 24 Hours Notice***
Emergencies not withstanding.
This is so other clients may be given the time slot. An appointment canceled without proper notice represents a loss of revenue to the business and a missed opportunity for another rider to be able to train.
Cancellations made without 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee; to be implemented at the discretion of the trainer.
FOR THE NOVICE RIDER:
We are privileged to now offer the services of Leora. She is a patient teacher and she allows the beginner rider to feel how a Dressage horse is supposed to move and how that movement translates to in the saddle.
Her even and forgiving temperament and mature attitude allow a novice rider to experience what the proper movements of a Dressage horse should be. She is boarded here on the farm and is available for lessons, on-farm, for $65 a lesson.
She is a wonderful addition to our farm and she is excellent horse for riders to learn on. Please call to inquire for more details!
FOR THE MORE ADVANCED RIDER:
We offer the services of Sid, a thirteen year-old Warmblood cross. He is a 3rd Level School Master and an excellent addition to Walhalla Farm, as he allows students to feel true 3rd Level movements and work on their position and control. Like Sam, he is patient and forgiving as a teacher, but having confirmed 3rd Level moves, he is more particular about a rider's aides and challenging; perfect for a rider looking to increase their abilities.
His skill level, temperament and enthusiasm make Sid an invaluable asset for Walhalla Farm. We allow only a certain number of lessons on Sid a week, so Lynn can keep him schooled and tuned up and sharp for all riders, so call to reserve a lesson soon! Lessons on Sid run $75 for a full session; you will find that it is money well spent, a sound investment for a rider's skills and abilities.
